From the designer: "Pennsylvania, one of the thirteen original Colonies, was admitted to the States in December of 1787. It was named for Admiral William Penn (William Penn's father), and the state motto is "Virtue, liberty, and independence."

This chart was originally released as a club piece for The Colonial Gathering club.
