Shipping Policies

Current Turnaround Time

Orders for items currently in stock will typically ship out within 3-4 business days.

Preorders and special orders will ship when the items are received. Orders that include preorders (including Stitch Boxes) and in-stock items will ship when the preorder item is in stock.

If an item you order turns out to be out of stock, we will contact you via email.

Local Delivery Option

If you live in Corvallis and would like your order delivered to your house, please use the Local Delivery option at checkout (change "Ship To" information to choose this). If you have any special instructions for delivery, please let us know; otherwise items will be left at your front door, and you will receive an email informing you of delivery. This is restricted to Corvallis residents only; anyone outside of Corvallis will receive their order via USPS.

General Shipping Info

Please be sure your shipping address is correct!

DOMESTIC:

Packages will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage unless you choose to upgrade to Priority Mail for an additional shipping charge. You may also choose UPS as a shipping option, but please note that UPS will not deliver to PO Boxes.

Insurance and tracking are included in the cost of USPS and UPS postage.

Shipping costs for all carriers are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items in your order. We do not have any control over the calculated costs. Transit times vary based on the service chosen. Please see the USPS or UPS websites to check on current transit times for your chosen postage service.

US orders over $75 ship for free.

INTERNATIONAL:

 

We currently ship orders worldwide using DHL. This is our only option for shipping internationally. Any applicable duties/taxes/fees should be collected at checkout. International package transit time may range from 2 to 6 weeks.

Other Shipping Policies

The Starlight Stitchery unfortunately cannot take responsibility for packages once they have been mailed. Please contact your local post office for information about packages; be sure to have your tracking number handy. If you are concerned about your package going missing, please consider purchasing postage that includes insurance and/or tracking, or choose UPS as your shipping provider.
